Police say city man took wallet, used stolen cards

A Johnson City man was arrested following an investigation into an auto burglary where the victim’s wallet and credit cards were stolen, according to a police press release.
According to the release, Paul Andrew Miller, 40, 405 E. Myrtle Ave., was charged after he allegedly broke into a vehicle, stole a wallet and then used the victim’s credit cards at three gas stations.
Miller was identified by a witness and was charged with auto burglary, theft under $500 and three counts of credit card fraud under $500.
He was being held on $14,000 bond in the Washington County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in Sessions Court today at 9 a.m.
