An Elizabethton man was arrested Tuesday following an investigation into hours falsely submitted for compensation in 2010, according to a police press release.
According to the release, Ronald Edward Urbani, 340 Lovers Lane, was charged after an investigation revealed he had forged the name of his supervisor and reported hours he hadn’t worked and received compensation.
Labor Finders filed the initial report in 2010.
Urbani was charged with forgery under $500 and theft of property under $500.
He was held on $2,000 bond in the Washington County Detention Center.
Urbani is scheduled to appear in Sessions Court for his arraignment today at 1:30 p.m.
