Virginia man charged with being fugitive from justice

A man being sought by authorities in Virginia was found in Johnson City Wednesday, according to police.
Johnson City police said David Adam Willis, 25, 9271 Lovers Gap Road, Vansant, Va., was found at 100 Carter Sells Road around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release.
He was being sought by the Buchanan County Virginia Sheriff’s Office for an unspecified reason.
Willis was charged with being a fugitive from justice.
He was being held in the Washington County Detention Center on $20,000 bond. A hold was placed on him by the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office for his extradition, according to the news release.
A preliminary hearing for Willis was scheduled for today in Sessions Court.
