A Johnson City woman was arrested Monday on charges that she used a stolen identification to return a stolen jacket to a city Walmart.
Kimberly Whaley, 120 Reeser Road, No. 46, was charged with identity theft, trespassing and theft under $500.
Police said the arrest resulted from a shoplifting investigation at the Walmart at 2915 W. Market St.
Whaley was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $12,000 bond with arraignment in Sessions Court Tuesday.
Earlier this month, Whaley was charged with auto burglary and theft under $500. She was arrested with Roger D. Estep Jr., 35, no address available, after an auto burglary at 318 Arbor Drive.
