Arson charge filed in Keystone car fire

A man was arrested Tuesday following an investigation into a car fire in the Keystone community in Johnson City, according to a police news release.

According to the release, Ryan Michael Stilles, 22, was arrested for allegedly being connected to the car fire.

Police said the vehicle, a gray Chevrolet Malibu belonging to Maya Mitchell, was destroyed by the fire and was valued at $1,800.

Stilles was charged with one count of arson.

He was being held on $20,000 bond in the Washington County Detention Center.

Stilles was scheduled to appear in Sessions Court today at 9 a.m.
