Johnson City police have arrested a man suspected of robbing a West Market Street retail pharmacy earlier this week.
Devon Lee Stokes, 34, 705 W. Hillcrest Drive, was arrested Friday and charged with armed robbery.
Police said Stokes had demanded drugs from CVS Pharmacy, 840 W Market St., Thursday afternoon. The man fled the pharmacy before police arrived, but a store surveillance camera recorded him entering the store. Police had released images to local news media.
Investigators located Stokes at his residence and found evidence from his home that linked him to the crime, according to a news release.
Stokes was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $30,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance Monday.
