Woman accused of stabbing husband at Kingsport restaurant

KINGSPORT — A Kingsport woman has been arrested after allegedly attempting to discuss marital problems with her husband while he worked at a city restaurant, but ultimately stabbing him in the shoulder while he held their youngest child.
Latoyia I. Griffith, 28, is charged with aggravated assault in the late Tuesday night incident. Approximately 80 minutes after the alleged stabbing she was located at a local motel, where police say she was uncooperative and additionally charged with resisting arrest.
No weapon was located, with Griffth reportedly telling police she "couldn't remember" what she used.
