Johnson City police on Monday arrested a Chuckey woman classified as a habitual motor offender.
Margaret A. Laster, 48, 11 Maple Swamp Road, Chuckey, was stopped on Hamilton Street and gave police a Tennessee Identification Only Card.
Police said a records check indicated her license had been revoked and she was classified as a habitual motor offender. Police arrested Laster and searched her vehicle, finding a glass pipe, according to a news release.
Charged with driving while restriction in effect and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, Laster was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $6,000 bond and arraigned Tuesday in Sessions Court.
