MOUNTAIN CITY — An alleged threat made by an elementary student is being investigated, Morris O. Woodring, director of the Johnson County School System, said on Friday.
Woodring said the alleged threat towards a fellow student at Mountain City Elementary School was reported to him by the principal. The principal and the school resource officer are investigating.
"The student allegedly made some comments," Woodring said. "The parents or guardian of the child have been informed."
Woodring said the student has not been in class during the investigation.
