Johnson City police seek help in finding armed robber

Johnson City police Wednesday issued a request for public help in finding the woman who robbed a South Roan Street carry-out pizza restaurant with a gun during lunchtime on Friday.

The woman robbed the Little Caesar's location at 1920 South Roan St. about 11:15 a.m. She was described as white, 5 feet, 3 inches to 5 feet, 4 four inches tall, weighing 115-120 pounds with blonde hair and capped silver teeth. She was wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt, black sneakers and eyeglasses.

Police said the woman showed what appeared to be the black handle of a handgun and demanded cash from the till. She got into the passenger seat of a light blue short-body style vehicle with damage all over it.  A white male was driving.

The store clerk told police the first letter on the vehicle's tag was "D."
