BLOUNTVILLE — Home decor is typically of no concern to police.
But when the "decorations" consist of 30 stolen street signs, two traffic barrels and two traffic cones, officers tend to take notice — and someone's likely heading to jail.
That's allegedly what happened to Daniel Cross, 20, of 221 Sinking Springs Road, Bristol, Tenn. A Sullivan County Sheriff's Office arrest report says deputies originally responded to a domestic incident at his girlfriend's home, also on Sinking Springs, about 11:40 Saturday morning.
Cross reportedly said he had been arguing with the woman, who left the residence prior to the officer's arrival. Deputies then asked if they could enter the home to make sure no one was injured, finding broken dishes and glass in the hallway.
