ELIZABETHTON — A black carry bag containing several items commonly used to make methamphetamine were found at the end of Richardson Cemetery Road off Josiah Trail on Wednesday.
Sgt. Harmon Duncan said the items in the bag included a gallon can of Coleman lantern fuel and a gallon-size plastic container of muriatic acid. Duncan said both containers were about 80 percent full. Other items in the bag included a bag of salt, a tube cutter, and two open bags of Ice Pack (ammonium nitrate).
Duncan said there were no active cook bottles or gasser bottles, nor was their any residue from the process of methamphetamine manufacture.
