KINGSPORT — Police are continuing to search for a Johnson City man suspected of busting his way into Kingsport gas station with a car three months ago, fleeing with money from the in-store ATM.
In August, NET News Service reported the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office had issued an arrest warrant for Eddie Albert Fink Sr., 44, last known address of 7 Trivett Concourse, Apartment 3. A Thursday press release from the SCSO says has been charged with burglary in the July 5 incident at a Sunoco, 5670 Fort Henry Drive, with police seeking information from the public on his whereabouts.
Deputies say an alarm sounded at the convenience store at approximately 1:30 a.m., with officers arriving to find a large section of glass busted out of the front of the store. A manager responded and noted an ATM beside the broken window had been tampered with.
