Endangered child alert issued for Johnson City boy

An endangered child alert has been issued by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for a 12-year-old Johnson City boy.

According to a news release from the TBI, Joao Kleber Martins Guimaraes, 12, and his mother, Jesiane Martins Nixon, 30, failed to appear in court this morning. A bench order was issued for Nixon on Monday, according to the news release.

Guimaraes is described as white with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

Nixon was described as white with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 118 pounds.
