Man accused of using credit card stolen from vehicle

A Johnson City man faced several charges from a city police investigation into a purse stolen from a vehicle.
Jonathan E. Estep, 26, 205 Edna Court, Apt. 100, was charged with auto burglary, theft under $500 and two counts of credit card fraud under $500.
Police said the arrest resulted from an investigation into an auto burglary in which the victim’s purse was stolen and her credit card was used at Walmart.
Estep was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $12,000 bond and arraigned Friday in Sessions Court.
