Johnson City man charged with child neglect, more

A city man was arrested Sunday on child abuse, neglect and unlawful drug paraphernalia charges, according to city police.
Jason D. Peters, 21, 1068 Ingleside Terrace, was arrested following an investigation into a report of an unsupervised child who had wandered out of the Ingleside Terrace residence.
Officers made contact with Peters at his apartment and located drug paraphernalia and an open knife lying within the child’s reach, according to police.
Peters was being held in the Washington County Detention Center on an $11,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County Sessions Court today at 9 a.m.
