A Kingsport man accused of threatening to kill a man and "carve out his kidneys" with a knife has been arrested on aggravated assault and underage consumption charges.
According to a Sullivan County Sheriff's Office report, the alleged incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. Friday at 416 Packinghouse Road, Lot 11, Kingsport.
Joshua Bowen advised police he'd gone to the residence to talk to a friend about "problems" they'd been having. He said they had been talking for about five minutes when Nicholas Brown, 19, of 908 Chadwell Road, emerged from a bedroom carrying a bottle of Olde English beer and "proceeded to get violent."
