Johnson City police arrested a city man Tuesday on drug charges after finding him parked near a recently burglarized business about 2 a.m.
Cody DeShaun Bradley, 20, 205 E. Fairview Ave., was charged with possession with the intent to distribute schedule VI drugs and possession of drug equipment.
Police spotted an occupied, parked car in the lot at South Roan Service Center, 1202 S. Roan Street, which had been recently burglarized, police said in a news release.
While speaking with the car's occupants, police spotted a small piece of marijuana on the center console. After asking Bradley, a passenger who was on probation, to exit the car, police found six small bags of marijuana and a digital scale in his possession, police said in a report.
In searching the car, police also found a glass pipe used for smoking marijuana, which Bradley also said was his, according to the report.
Bradley was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $11,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance later Tuesday.
