Old downtown building being renovated for homeless, at-risk tenants

An old building that has been vacant for years in downtown Johnson City is being renovated for homeless veterans and other at-risk tenants.
Ken Snowden, owner of Central Heat and Air and also a local landlord, recently purchased the old Volunteer Building at the corner of South Boone Street and Wilson Avenue to transform into a 28-unit apartment complex.
