Police: Johnson City man fled traffic stop, arrested at work

A man sped away from a traffic stop Monday but Johnson City police caught up with him at his workplace later in the day and arrested him, according to a news release.
Jeffrey M Green, 30 yoa, 109 Warren Road, was charged with felony evading by motor vehicle, having no drivers license and having an unregistered vehicle.
Police said officers tried stopping Green for "acting suspicious" around East Mountain View Road and Kimrod Drive, but he fled at high speed.
Police identified Green as the driver and arrested at him at his place of employment later in the day.
He was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance Tuesday.
