Johnson City police arrested a man early Sunday morning after he allegedly fled a traffic stop hours earlier.
Roy L. Fields, 28, 449 Woodlyn Road, was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and evading arrest.
Police said in a news release officers had attempted to stop Fields for reckless driving near Water and Elm streets around 9:30 p.m. Saturday but he refused to stop and drove recklessly to get away.
After obtaining an arrest warrant, police arrested Fields at his residence about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Fields was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $40,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance Tuesday.
