ROGERSVILLE — A Morristown woman who turned herself in to the Hawkins County Jail on Thursday for probation violation is now facing a felony introduction charge for allegedly sneaking in two types of pills in “an undetectable location on her body.”

Ashley Nicole Gray, 28, 3539 Elwood Drive, Morristown, turned herself in to the Hawkins County Jail on a Criminal Court warrant issued for failure to comply with Criminal Court rules and regulations concerning a prior drug possession charge.

“During Ms. Gray’s short stay at the Hawkins County Jail, corrections officers found her to be in possession of a small blue pill and a plastic bag containing a white powdery residue like substance,” Sheriff Ronnie Lawson stated in a written press release. “Corrections officers also found her to be in possession of a white pill which had been busted up into three different pieces.”
