ELIZABETHTON — A woman was arrested over the weekend on a charge of using a debit card that did not belong to her.
Geane Mae Honeycutt, 55, 1346 Broad St., Apt. 2, was charged with fraudulent use of a credit/debit card. She is scheduled to answer the charge in Sessions Court on March 12.
The arrest came after Investigator Todd Hamm of the Carter County Sheriff’s Department took a complaint from Patsy Clark that someone had used her card at the Sunoco Convenience Store at 525 Highway 91. Hamm said video from the store’s security camera revealed that Honeycutt was the unauthorized person using the card.
