Hawkins County woman charged with bringing drugs to jail again

ROGERSVILLE — A Hawkins County woman who reported to jail Saturday to begin serving a sentence for previous charges including smuggling drugs into jail was charged again after jail officers allegedly found pills in her clothes.
Debra Sue Rogers, 43, 139 Forest Road, Rogersville, reported to the Hawkins County Jail on Saturday morning to begin serving a sentence related to a previous charge of introduction of drugs into a penal facility and driving on a revoked license.
Rogers was originally arrested on March 16 for driving on a revoked license third offense. Upon being booked into jail March 16, Rogers was found with a small amount of cocaine and oxycodone in her possession.
