UT to help probe discovery of remains in Loudon County

KNOXVILLE (AP) — A man and his son who were scavenging for scrap metal have found human remains.
The discovery on Thursday was in Loudon County near the Roane County line, reported WVLT-TV (http://bit.ly/w1cdqR ).
Sheriff Tim Guider said a human skull and skeletal remains were found in some woods about 200 feet from a road. Police cordoned off the scene and University of Tennessee anthropologists will assist in the investigation on Friday.
