Teens charged with Sullivan home burglary, possession of stolen vehicle

BLOUNTVILLE — A pair of teenagers face charges in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia after they were allegedly located driving a stolen vehicle, stocked with items taken in a home burglary.
A Sullivan County Sheriff's Office press release says a burglary was reported Sunday at a home on Highway 11W in Blountville. The victim said several items were taken, including TVs, computers, guns and jewelry, with their total value estimated to be more than $2,000.
That same day officers with the Scott County, Va., Sheriff's Office conducted a stop on a vehicle reported stolen out of Kingsport. Guns were reportedly located in the trunk, with one matching the description of a gun stolen in the Blountville burglary.
