The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death of a Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency officer found dead of a gunshot Monday in a Washington County office.
TWRA spokesman Don King said the officer was Ken Ripley.
TBI public information officer Kristin Helm said Ripley, 59, of Gray, was found Monday morning when people arrived at the TWRA office.
Ripley had a gunshot wound, Helm said.
An autopsy was scheduled to be performed in Johnson City. Helm said the case is being treated as a death investigation until the TBI receives the medical examiner's report.
