Cancer is second-leading cause of death in children 15 and younger

John Good says when he first learned his daughter had brain cancer,

it took a while for him to process what the doctors were telling him.

“It didn’t hit me right away. It hit me later and I thought, ‘My child is one of the statistics,’” he said.

John’s wife, Sarah, says something like this only happens to other people’s children, not your own.
