Mr. and Mrs. Harold Presnell, 409 Tollett St., Hampton, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at a renewal of their wedding vows at True Gospel Baptist Church. The Rev. Dean Presnell officiated the 2 p.m. exchange of vows.

The couple were married on Dec. 24, 1962, in Johnson City by the Rev. W.J. Bryant.

Mr. Presnell retired from Central Transport, Kingsport, as a truck driver.

Mrs. Presnell is the former Elsie Puckett. She retired from Tri-Cities Skin & Cancer as a nurse.

The couple have four children, Tammy Murray, Lisa Presnell, Billy Presnell and Robert Presnell, all of Hampton; six grandchildren, Jacqueline Range, Staff Sgt. Anthony Perry, Immanuel Elliott, Ashley Perry, Christa Presnell and Jonathon Hardin; and one great-grandchild, Skilar Hardin.
