
Dr. Trudy Elizabeth Schneider and Jonathan Graham Gerrard were married Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Atlanta.
Father James A. Schillinger, STL, assisted by the Rev. Dr. William A. Gerrard III, father of the groom, officiated the 6 p.m. exchange of vows. Music was provided by Michael D. Mullink, vocalist; and William Jefferson Bush, pianist.
The bride is a daughter of Kent and Coleen Schneider, 416 W. Pine St., Johnson City.
She is a granddaughter of Eugene and Ethel Berger, San Angelo, Texas; the late E.V. Schneider and the late Nancy Schneider.
The groom is a son of Suzanne and the Rev. Dr. William A. Gerrard III, 5914 Hammersmith Road, Stone Mountain, Ga.
He is a grandson of Susan Graham, Decatur, Ga., and the late John Clark Graham Jr.; the late Austin Gerrard and the late Elizabeth Gerrard.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless floor-length gown of white satin featuring a fitted bodice, ruched to a dropped waistline and a multi-layered, gathered circle skirt, made by the bride’s mother.
Matron of honor was Dr. Heidi Lathrop, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Dr. Laura Coker and Dr. Tracy Woodward.
Flower girl was Sophia Smith.
Chris Gerrard, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Josh Smith, cousin of the groom, and Eric Schneider, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Daniel Butson and Sam Julien.
Lectors were Pratt Lathrop and Brent Greene.
Following a reception at Park Tavern, Atlanta, the couple took a wedding trip to Maui and Kauai, Hawaii.
