Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Edward “Eddie” Gillen, 596 Treadway Trail, Telford, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012.

The couple were married on Nov. 10, 1962, at the home of the bride’s parents by the Rev. Harold Ray.

Mr. Gillen retired after 41 years of service at Leon-Ferenbach Inc. and five years at Winco Inc.

Mrs. Gillen is the former Sandra Gail Stayer. She retired after 30 years of service at Leon-Ferenbach Inc. as a secretary.

The couple have one child, Michael Edward Gillen of Telford; one grandchild, Michael; and one great-grandchild, Hallie.

The couple are planning a trip for the future.
