Who We Are: Northeast Community Credit Union (formerly Elizabethton Teachers Credit Union) was chartered in 1952 by a group of nine visionaries from the Elizabethton School System. This group knew collectively they could empower themselves to structure an organization that would help people share in a better future.
Throughout the years Northeast Community Credit Union has seen change and tremendous growth, but one constant has been our service to the community.
NCCU is proud to now be a community credit union serving the individuals of Carter, Washington, and Johnson counties. Anyone that lives, works, worships, or attends school in our area may join the credit union with a $25 initial deposit into a share account. This account will open the door to all services offered by Northeast Community Credit Union. As an added bonus of membership your family has the opportunity to join the credit union and take advantage of all of our great offers.
