Police still looking for suspect in Nashville shooting

Nashville police say they are still looking for a man they say shot his girlfriend and her three teenage daughters at an apartment complex and fled the scene barefoot.

A contracted mail delivery truck was rear-ended by a red pickup truck at the intersection of Springbrook Drive and North Roan Street about 3:40 a.m. Saturday, police said. The driver was charged with driving under the influence and two other charges.

Johnson City Police and bomb squad units responded to a Lamont Street residence Friday night, after a man called 911 saying he had suicidal and homicidal thoughts, as well as the makings of a bomb inside a backpack, according to the police report.
