Washington County offices closed early Tuesday, opening late Wednesday; JC's Memorial Park closing

Washington County Mayor Dan Eldridge closed all county offices at 2 p.m. Tuesday due to the weather and said those offices won't re-open until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The allegations are that Anthony Eugene Newton first began touching the boy, which brought sexual battery charges, and that led to further sexual contact that would constitute rape.
