Early voting for the May 6 Republican Primary for county offices begins today and runs through May 1. Remember to take some form of approved photo identification when you go to the polls.

On April 1, a provision in Johnson City's agreement to purchase the downtown U-Haul property went into effect, reducing the city's financial commitment on two distinct offers by $10,000 each month until the company vacates the premises.
