Electricity usage soars as TVA, JCPB renew calls for conservation

With the region still in the midst of a cold snap, the Johnson City Power Board and the Tennessee Valley Authority renewed their requests for energy conservation, as the federal power agency predicted one of its highest usage peaks on record today.
