Election Commission uncorks wine in groceries referendum

Voters in Johnson City and Jonesborough will get to choose if they want to see wine on grocery store shelves after the county election commission approved including the question on the November ballot in a meeting Monday.

Elizabethton High School's swim coach resigned from his job last week, just two days before his arrest on indecent exposure charges in Johnson City, although he apparently talked to his athletic director in July about leaving the school system.
